Eventivist is a crowd-sponsoring platform for events that make the world better for everyone. We're a start-up! We are looking for a well-rounded full stack developer who is passionate about building web applications. You will be a core leader throughout the entire SDLC. Channel your creative energy and contribute to a team building fast, engaging and responsive websites for a magnificent user experience.

Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience with iterative/test driven development, code refactoring and continuous integration

Thorough understanding of web services technologies such as HTTP, REST

Expertise with object oriented analysis, design patterns

Prior experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails based components in a consumer facing web environment (a minimum 2 years work experience)

Experience in XHTML (HTML 5 a plus), Javascript, CSS, jQuery, HAML, SASS and general Web 2.0 techniques required

Strong team player with passion for constantly improving the product, code quality, build processes

A proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex and fast moving development environments

Prior experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience with code manipulation and optimization issues for client side and server side performance

Superb analytical skills, self directed, and pays close attention to details

Work Conditions
• Full time, 40-hour per week standard.
• On-call availability and periodic overtime.
• Compensation is DEO.
